Pascal Mora, born in 1983, discovered his passion for photography during his training as a record store salesperson, inspired by the energy and atmosphere of live music.
To refine his skills, he gained valuable experience as an assistant in the photography studio of Annabelle magazine in Zurich, as well as in the photo editing department of Das Magazin, the weekly supplement of the Tages-Anzeiger. After an extended stay in South America, he has been working as a freelance photographer since 2009, specializing in reportage and portrait photography.
He spent several years living in Cairo, documenting the social and political upheavals in the Arab world. Since 2015, he has been based in Zurich again but continues to work internationally.
His work has been recognized with numerous awards, including the prestigious Swiss Press Photo Award in the categories of News and Sports.
He works with national and international publications, news agencies, institutions, and companies.
